Its 20% urea and lactic acid gently lift away the dull, raised layer where ridges sit, so the surface looks and feels smoother. The Nail Growth Oil follows, conditioning the nail and cuticle and supporting healthier nail growth as it comes through.
The real difference is how it smooths. The usual fix for a rough, ridged surface is to buff it down, which thins the nail plate and can leave it weaker over time. This softens and refines the raised surface without filing anything away, then looks after the new nail growing in behind it.
