Miris Blend Blanc Aromatic is a delicate sparkling alcohol-free white wine made exclusively from Cabernet Blanc grapes grown in Germany’s Rheinhessen region. It pours a light lemon colour with fine, creamy bubbles, while aromas of gooseberry, pear, kiwi and lime are complemented by subtle floral notes.
The grapes are sourced from vineyards with light, porous loess soils combined with clay and marl, in a warm, sunny climate moderated by cooler nights and the nearby Rhine River. These conditions provide a balanced environment for grape ripening, while careful pruning is used to balance yield and quality. Harvest takes place between August and October, combining hand and machine harvesting.
The grapes undergo gentle processing, with whole bunches pressed and allowed to settle naturally to preserve as much of their aromatic character as possible. Fermentation uses primarily ester-producing yeasts selected for their stability during the subsequent de-alcoholisation process.
After fermentation, Blanc Aromatic is de-alcoholised using vacuum distillation under gentle conditions of 60 mbar and 35°C. Miris Blend's patented aroma recovery technology then captures aromas separated during distillation and adds them back into the wine, helping retain a fuller spectrum of delicate fruit and floral characteristics.
At 0.4% ABV, Blanc Aromatic has 3.3g of sugar per 100ml and 5.9 g/L acidity. The palate is fruit-driven and approachable, with flattering acidity, delicate bubbles and a long finish.
