Miris Blend Blanc de Blancs Non Alcoholic 750ml

Miris Blend Blanc de Blancs is a delicate sparkling alcohol-free white wine made from a blend of Rivaner, Scheurebe, Silvaner and Riesling grapes grown in Germany’s Rheinhessen region. It pours a light lemon colour with fine, creamy bubbles, while aromas of green apple, lemon tart, meringue and biscuit are complemented by subtle floral notes.

The grapes are sourced from vineyards with light, porous loess soils combined with clay and marl, in a warm, sunny climate moderated by cooler nights and the nearby Rhine River. These conditions help provide a balanced environment for grape ripening. The vines are pruned using a single cane to balance yield and quality, with harvesting taking place between August and October using a combination of hand and machine harvesting.

The grapes undergo gentle processing, with whole bunches pressed and allowed to settle naturally to help preserve their aromatic character. Fermentation uses primarily ester-producing yeasts selected for their stability during de-alcoholisation, while also contributing brioche and biscuit aromas as the wine develops.

The wine is aged in tanks for at least nine months before de-alcoholisation. Alcohol is then removed using vacuum distillation at 50 mbar and just 31°C, a low-temperature process designed to minimise the loss of important aromas.

At 0.4% ABV, Blanc de Blancs has only 3.6g of sugar per 100ml. The palate is fruit-driven and approachable, with pleasant acidity and a citrus-led finish. Fine bubbles, fresh fruit and subtle brioche and biscuit notes give it a balanced style that works well both on its own and with food.
