About the Nossa Program
Nossa is a partnership between Cafe Imports, Bourbon Specialty and SOS Mata Atlantica to protect and restore Brazil's Atlantic Forest biome, which today holds only about 12% of its original forest. The purchase of this coffee directly supports the restoration of 277 acres in the renowned Vale da Grama growing area of Sao Sebastiao da Grama - funding native tree planting (SOS Mata Atlantica has planted over 40 million since 1986), safe-water monitoring, watershed protection, and support for producers adopting regenerative practices. In the cup: mild caramel and malt flavours with mellow sweetness - a smooth, dependable espresso base that gives back.
About the Varieties
Nossa is built from Brazil's common commercial varieties - Bourbon, Yellow Bourbon, Catuai, Maracaturra, Maragogype and Typica among them - grown across the Vale da Grama and blended for a smooth, dependable espresso profile rather than single-cultivar expression.
Natural processing on patios lends the classic Brazilian character: mild caramel, malt and nutty creaminess with tempered fruit. It is a coffee designed to be an everyday base - with every bag funding Atlantic Forest restoration through SOS Mata Atlantica.
