TerraQuilia is a small, high-altitude estate in Emilia, farming organically at 500m in the hills around Guiglia. Working with native varieties and traditional bottle refermentation, their focus is on honest, unadulterated sparkling wines that reflect both place and process.
‘Falcorubens’ is a col fondo Lambrusco Grasparossa, refermented in bottle and left on its lees. The 2019 is dark, savoury and full of character—black cherry, plum and wild berry fruit layered with spice, earth and a gentle feral edge. The palate is lively and textured, with fine, rustic bubbles, bright acidity and a dry, mineral finish. Unfiltered, energetic and deeply expressive—Lambrusco in its most authentic, soulful form.
